Le St. Armand est un bateau qui a été construit par Gaston il y a quelques années sur un table de camping pour un collègue. Mais le trouvant trop beau, préférait le garder. Pourtant, quelques années plut tard, il l'a vendu à Guy. Qui lui me le donna pour un service rendu! L'hiver 1998/1999, j'ai décapé la coque pour la mettre en G4 et restauré la peinture. J'en ai profité pour remplacer hélice par une hélice qui tourne à 220° afin d'améliorer la marche arrière de mon bateau.

De St. Armand is een boot dat enkelen jaren geleden op een camping tafel gemaakt werd door Gaston voor een collegae. daar hij de boot te mooi vond om hem weg te geven, heeft hij hem behouden. Evenwel enkele jaren later, verkocht hij de boot aan Guy. Die nog enkele jaren later hem aan mij schonk voor bewezen diensten. In de winter van 1998/1999 heb ik hem afgeschuurd om hem in G4 te zetten hem eens te herschilderen. Ik heb van de gelegenheid ook gebruik gemaakt om de schroef te vervangen door een die 220° draait, om het achterwaarts varen te vergemakkelijken. 

The St Armand is a boat which was built by Gaston a few years ago on a collapsible camping table for a colleague. But finding it too beautiful, he preferred to keep it. However, a few years later, he sold it to Guy, who gave it to me in exchange for a good turn! In the winter of 1998/99, I stripped the paint from it's hull to put it in G4 and then I gave it a new coat of paint. I made the most of this opportunity and replaced the original propeller with a propeller which turns to 220° in order to improve the reverse gear of my boat.
